Knowledge Bowl

2005-2006

The 2005-2006 Logos Junior High Knowledge Bowl team of 13 students had a successful season, ending with 9 wins and 3 losses.

 
We matched up with junior high teams from other local area schools including:
  • Garfield-Palouse
  • Genesee
  • Montrose
  • Moscow
  • Potlatch
  • Troy
8th grade participants included Tyler Evans, Mac Jones, Malcolm MacNeill, Josiah Nance and Gresham Schlect.
 
7th graders on the team were Caleb Ackley, Emily Carlson, Kim Cox, Clay DeBord, Kevin McGarry, Hannah Page, Barret Schneider and Caleb Struble.
 
The team was coached by BJ Carlson and Trude Marston.

2004-2005

The 2004-2005 Northern Idaho regional high school Knowledge Bowl competition was held on 14 March 2005 at the University of Idaho.

The following 5 Northern Idaho schools went to State competition in Boise on 22-24 March:

  • Montrose Academy (Moscow)
  • Kendrick
  • Potlatch
  • Coeur D'Alene Charter School
  • Logos School (Moscow)

Montrose Academy took first place at the Idaho State Knowledge Bowl Competition. The Logos School team finished third in the competition.

The Logos team won their first two matches, then lost to Montrose by 10 points in the semi-finals. Finally, the Logos team defeated Rockland by a wide margin to win the third place trophy.

Congrats to both Montrose Academy and to Logos School.
